July 4, 1984, was the day South Korean actor Lee Je-hoon was born in Seoul, South Korea. The biotechnology student turned actor started from short and indie films, soon to become among the most beloved and talented actors in the industry. The actor left Saram Agency in the year 2021 after 12 years and founded Company On in June 2021.

While our birthday boy is not the main protagonist in The Front Line, this movie won him the Best New Actor award which gets it on this list. 2011 was the year of Lee Je-hoon’s breakthrough and this movie played a huge role in changing his life. Set in 1951, The Front Line follows the story of two battalions from North and South Korea who are caught in a war over a hill which is a strategic point that would determine the new border between the two nations. Next on this list is Tomorrow With You which is a more slow-paced melodrama that is different from the last two on this list. Tomorrow With You revolves around a successful CEO who has the ability to time travel each time he takes the subway. Seeing an unhappy future ahead, he tries to change it by changing the present. But will this fix his future or create reverse effects?

His acting in this movie I Can Speak is so real and his portrayal of his friendship with Na Moon-hee is so beautiful that makes this movie one to watch with the whole family.

I Can Speak is about a feisty elderly who convinces the civil officer Park Min-jae to teach her English. The two come to share an understanding bond during the lessons, he later understands her desperation to learn English has to do with something that she needs to say.

Move To Heaven (2021)

Last but not least we have on this list Move To Heaven, a beautiful Kdrama about life and family that will move you to tears. Lee Je-hoon has shown a character that goes through a wonderful development and the emotions that he portrays throughout the show is like no one else. He has done a beautiful job with the character and this is a Kdrama that is not to be missed.

Move To Heaven follows the story of Cho Sang-gu who is given the guardianship of his autistic nephew. What he wants is the inheritance but according to a will left by his nephew’s father, he has to take care of his nephew for three months before he can claim the guardianship and the inheritance.
