First Kill: Everything You Need to Know About the Upcoming Teen Fantasy Series on Netflix

First Kill is an upcoming Netflix Original fantasy teen drama written and created by Victoria Schwab. The original is based on Schwab’s short story of the same name, which was published in Imprint’s Vampires Never Get Old: Tales with Fresh Bite. Felicia Henderson, who formerly worked on series such as Empire, Gossip Girl, and others will also co-write and serve as an executive producer in the series. This fantasy drama series deals with popular fictional characters like Vampires and dark underworld monster hunters. There is a total of eight episodes with each episode confirmed to have a runtime of approximately 60 minutes.

First Kill Cast

Starring Sarah Catherine Hook as Juliette Fairmont while Imani Lewis will play her love interest, named Calliope ‘Cal’ Burns. Their mothers will be portrayed by Mitchell and Aubin Wise respectively.

The cast also includes Jonas Dylan Allen as Ben, Gracie Dzienny as Elinor, Dominic Goodman (Euphoria) as Apollo, Dylan McNamara as Oliver, Roberto Mendez as Noah, Elizabeth Mitchell(Lost) as Margot, Jason R. Moore as Jack, Phillip Mullings Jr. as Theo, Will Swenson (The Greatest Showman) as Sebastian, Aubin Wise as Talia and Mk Xyz as Tess.

First Kill Plot/Synopsis

Netflix’s synopsis of the series reads as – Falling in love is tricky for teens Juliette and Calliope: One’s a vampire, the other’s a vampire hunter — and both are ready to make their first kill. In the series, Juliette has to take her place amongst her powerful vampire family and for that, she is required to make her first kill. When Juliette sets her sights on the new girl in town, Calliope, she bites off more than she can chew when Calliope is revealed to be from a family of esteemed vampire hunters. Both vampire and hunter soon learn the other isn’t so easy to kill, but far too easy to fall for.
