Sebastian Stan To Lead Winter Soldier Co-creator’s Future Comic-Adaptation Project

The fan base for our Winter Soldier Sebastian Stan is peaking now with the arrival of MCU Phase 4. With Captain America and most of the important MCU characters from phase 3 not returning for the upcoming Marvel movies, it is a rather heartfelt connection people have developed with characters like Sebastian Stan’s Winter Soldier or Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. These characters who have worked as a team with the Avengers are the totem of reminiscence in our lives as the new era begins.

Having said that, the Winter Soldier’s popularity is not just limited to his charisma over the audience. Ed Brubaker, who co-created the character of Winter Soldier alongside Steve Epting has made it very clear that he is interested in casting Sebastian Stan as the lead for his upcoming project.

Ed Brubaker on Sebastian Stan:

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Brubaker said: “We’ve had a bunch of movie interest, but nothing that’s come to fruition yet. Every time someone asks me who I want to play him, I’m like ‘Sebastian Stan.’ Not just because he was the Winter Soldier. Partly that. But because I think he’d be perfect for it. ‘Come on! You could be in every scene instead of half of them.'”

American comic book writer, Ed Brubaker is motivated to have Stan take the reigns for the live-action adaptation of the comic series that he aims to adapt in the future. For now, Brubaker is working on the content for the Reckless series of OGNs with Sean Phillips. The writer adds that it is all done and ready to hit the shelves in no time.

In the meantime, you can watch Sebastian Stan’s latest Marvel work titled The Falcon and The Winter Soldier on Disney+ Hotstar.
