Star Wars: The Bad Batch Episode 11 Recap: Devil’s Deal

Star Wars: The Bad Batch Episode 11 is called Devil’s Deal. Directed by Steward Lee, Tamara Becher-Wilkinson has written today’s episode of 25 minutes. The episode features Dee Bradley Backer, Michelle Ang, Robin Atkin Downes, Ferelith Young, Corey Burton, Vanessa Marshall, Phil Lamarr, and Noshir Dalal.

The Bad Batch Episode 11 Recap for Devil’s Deal contains spoilers. Just like episode 10, today’s episode opens with the Empire trying to convince residents of a planet to accept the new change. In today’s episode, Admiral Rampart (Noshir Dalal) and his army have reached Ryloth. Rampart tells General Taa (Phil Lamarr) and Cham Syndulla (Robin Atkin Downes) to convince their people to accept the new Empire rules.

Cham Syndulla assures the people of Ryloth that the Empire is here to bring peace to the planet after the sufferings of the Clone Wars. However, Cham’s brother Gobi Glie (Corney Burton) is not convinced with the new change and doesn’t trust the Empire. Cham’s daughter Hera Syndulla (Canessa Marshall) spies on the Empire troops in their restricted station area. However, she gets caught by the stormtroopers.

General Rampart tells Cham that he will let go of his daughter’s mistake and won’t file the report to the Empire. Gobi questions Cham if he doesn’t find something wrong with the way Empire functions. But Cham keeps telling him that he only intends to bring peace to Ryloth. After the Syndullas have their distracting opinions, we finally see the Bad Batch halfway through the episode.

In The Bad Batch Episode 11, Gobi and Hera travel out of Ryloth to meet the Bad Batch. The Bad Batch is on Cid’s mission to hand over some weapons to Gobi. Hera and Omega share a conversation about flying the spaceship. When Gobi returns to Ryloth, the stormtroopers, General Taa and Admiral Ramparth capture them. They accuse them of going against the Empire the decide a punishment for them. General Taa blames Cham for everything and asks Rampart to handle him.

There’s a clash between both the Ryloths and the Empire forces. At the end of The Bad Batch Episode 11, Admiral Rampart instructs his men to capture Cham and others. Somehow, Hera manages to hide, and she watches the troops taking away her parents. Admiral Rampart tells one of his men to find the Syndulla girl, aka Hera. That’s the end of the Devil’s Deal episode.

Devil’s Deal in today’s episode indicated Cham’s deal with the Empire. He thought he’s protecting his people, but the Empire has no such intention. The Bad Batch features only for a few minutes, and they’re unaware of what has happened. It is just another episode that showed us how influential and threatening the Empire is! Will Hera join the Clone Force 99 in the fight against the Empire? Let’s hope.
