Star Wars: The Bad Batch Episode 4 Recap: There’s No Escape

Star Wars: The Bad Batch Episode 4 started streaming on Disney+ Hotstar today. The fourth episode is titled Cornered. Directed by Saul Ruiz, Christian Taylor has written the episode of the show created by Dave Filoni. Dee Bradley Baker has voiced the Clone Force 99, and Michelle Ang has lent her voice for Omega.

In episode 3, The Bad Batch (except for Crosshair) and Omega get stranded on a moon. Tarkin and Admiral Rampart have something huge planned to fight against anyone who goes against the Empire, especially Clone Force 99 and Gerrera. In today’s episode, we see more effects of the Empire’s existence and a new threat.

In our The Bad Batch Episode 4 Recap, I’ve mentioned minor spoilers. The episode starts with Hunter telling his force that they should do their next landing on Idalfor. But Wrecker, Tech, Echo and Omega are not pleased with the plan. That’s when Echo informs that they are running out of food and fuel. Another issue surrounds their ship, which is on a wanted list.

The Clone Force 99 realises that they have no choice and nowhere to hide and can’t go on with limited resources. So they decide to land at Pantora, where Wrecker and Tech try to get rid of the ship sign to avoid getting caught. Hunter, Echo and Omega try to get some credits to buy food and other necessary items. Little did they know that even on the unknown planet, danger awaits them.

In the last two episodes of Star Wars: The Bad Batch series, we saw that the Empire wants to get its hands on Hunter and his men. But today’s episode shows that even Omega is a target, and the makers have not revealed who they are. The Bad Batch episode 4 Cornered showed what precisely the title means. Hunter, who was already quite protective of Omega, will now be alert all the time as he has figured out that several unknown enemies are behind their lives. There is no escape, no matter where they go.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch Episode 4 Recap (still from the trailer)

Today’s episode had some action scenes in the last 10 minutes. We also saw some robots, and one of them resembled C-3PO. However, they didn’t show the robot’s name, so even that’s a mystery. The music played in the background of this new person who is a new threat sounded familiar to one of the Star Wars character. But that’s your job to watch and guess who it is.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch Episode 4 Recap: Is it worth watching?

Today’s episode by Saul Ruiz and Christian Taylor again gives rise to the question – Is the war actually over? Of course, Star Wars fans know the havoc Empire causes in the coming time. But how it affects The Bad Batch, one of its forces who refuse to bow before them, is something interesting to see.
