The anime we picked are unique in their own ways and hence have garnered much recognition for being a great watch.

So without further ado, let us look at this list of 7 best anime of 2022 that surely, went past our expectations.

Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 2

7 Best Anime Of 2022 That Went Beyond Our Expectations: Demon Slayer, Bleach, Chainsaw Man, and More!
Still From Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 2

Why we have listed Attack on Titan in our list is something that we should not need to explain. This whole franchise has a massive fanbase for a reason, and even this part achieved the peak all otakus look for.

In this season, we see how Eren puts his plans in motion and turns against his own people for a goal that is a horror to many. Whether you accept his ideals or not, you cannot help but be witness to his actions anyway. Watch this show on Hulu.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War

The current season of Bleach has perfectly portrayed why this franchise will always be and rightly deserves to be a part of the big three. When Bleach ended in 2012 without any announcement for a new season, many wondered whether it would ever come back.

But it returned ten years later better than ever, with the season so good that it exceeded our expectations. We finally saw our favourite protagonist uncovering the mysteries of his past and fighting the strongest villain yet. Watch this show on Hulu.

Chainsaw Man

Chainsaw Man is definitely one of the most hyped anime of this year. Everyone from the anime community had great hopes and expectations for it, and honestly, it did deliver.

Perhaps the mystery behind its popularity is that so many could relate to a shonen protagonist like Denji, who has laughably realistic goals in life. How his life changes overnight from a simple boy to gaining devil powers starts the plot of this anime. Watch this show on Hulu.

Mob Psycho 100 III

Mob Psycho 100 has always been a beloved franchise for its unique protagonist who easily stands out amongst the shounen heroes. Through him, we see how someone who is not power-hungry is not necessarily weak.

But sadly, this season is the last, and here, we saw Mob taking on more challenges while trying to be as normal as possible. Watch this show on Amazon Prime.

Demon Slayer: Entertainment District Arc

If we make a list solely based on animation, then this one will definitely be at the top. Nobody thought Demon Slayer could excel anymore in the animation department, but it did.

This season picks up after the depressing results of the Mugen Train incident. But Tanjiro and his friends must move on to the next mission, where something far more dangerous and vicious awaits them. Watch this show on Hulu.

Ousama Ranking

Many great shows came out this year, but Ousama Ranking proved you don’t have to follow the traditional pattern to be a great anime. It depicts an adventure story between an adorable Prince and his unusual companion.

It is one of the most misleading anime ever, as despite appearing as a harmless story of a child, things turned dark really fast. Watch this show on Crunchyroll
