Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and what better way to spend it than watching How I Met Your Mother if you have zero plans on the big day? How I Met Your Mother Thanksgiving Episodes
Belly Full of Turkey (Season 1, Episode 9)

Lily and Marshall are both seen packing to visit the former’s family to spend Thanksgiving Day with them. Meanwhile, Robin and Ted plan on spending their holiday in a volunteering centre. To their surprise, they meet an unlikely person, Barney, in the kitchen. Both need clarification because Barney is far from doing such activities if a form of incentive is not involved. On the other side, Lily is facing some trouble with the Erikson family and having second thoughts about her relationship with Marshall.
Slapsgiving (Season 3, Episode 9)

The five friends get along after a very long time to spend the holiday together, but Robin has other plans. She brought her new boyfriend, Bob, along with her to celebrate the holiday with her friends. She was particularly worried about being alone with Ted since their breakup occurred only six months ago, and awkward feelings lingered.
On the other hand, Marshall renamed the holiday ‘Slapsgiving’ because he won a bet with Barney, and now he can slap him five times. He slapped him twice already and plans on completing the task by unexpectedly sneaking up on him.
Slapsgiving 2: Revenge of the Slap (Season 5, Episode 9)

Marshall decides to gift the fourth slap left for Barney to Ted and Robin so that they would get along with each other. The only rule was to get it done before sundown so they could all have dinner together. But they ended up arguing about who deserved to slap him more. Meanwhile, Lily is in utter chaos when her deadbeat father, who had left her when she was young, is at her doorstep. Marshall is seen comforting her and trying to convince her to forgive him.

Blitzgiving (Season 6, Episode 10)

In this episode, Marshall and Ted meet up with their old friend “The Blitz”. He was given that name due to his bad luck. But soon Ted realizes that his friend’s bad luck had passed onto him due to a series of occurring events that had been happening to him since he met “The Blitz” His theory is proved right when his entire group befriends his nemesis, Zoey. The episode is filled with hilarious instances throughout.
The Rebound Girl (Season 7, Episode 11)

After both Marshall and Lily get to see the house’s full potential in Long Island, they decide to move there. They announce the news to their friends, and Robin is visibly bothered by it. She tried to convince them not to leave the house they currently resided in.
Meanwhile, Ted and Barney are upset that they both had a bad year making a love connection, so they decide to become “bro-parents”. They decide to adopt a child so that they can fill in the void left by the women in their lives.

Slapsgiving 3: Slappointment in Slapmarra (Season 9, Episode 14)

Marshall still has the last slap out of five to deliver to Barney. In the episode, they show how eagerly Marshall has been waiting and training to end the debacle grandly. He shows how he has acquired the power of a thousand suns through intensive training with his master. The saga of slapsgiving finally ends with this episode.
