Created by Jon Favreau, The Mandalorian is a part of the famous Star Wars franchise and takes place five years after the events of the 1983 film Return of the Jedi. It stars Pedro Pascal as the title character aka Din Djarin along with Carl Weathers as Greef Karga, Werner Herzog as the Client, Omid Abtahi as Dr. Pershing, Nick Nolte as Kuiil, Gina Carano as Cara Dune, Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon, Emily Swallow as the Armorer, Esposito, Timothy Olyphant as Cobb Vanth, Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett, Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan Kryze.

Altered Carbon

A cyberpunk series that will twist your mind like no other with its sci-fi voodoo and emotional drama, Netflix’s Altered Carbon has two seasons and both are worth the watch! Created by Laeta Kalogridis, the show is based on the 2002 novel of the same title by Richard K. Morgan. It revolves around the main character named Takeshi Kovacs, who is an investigator released from prison to solve a murder. The series takes place in a Universe where the consciousness of beings can be transferred to different bodies. As for the cast, we have Joel Kinnaman, James Purefoy, Martha Higareda, Chris Conner, Dichen Lachman, Ato Essandoh, Kristin Lehman, Trieu Tran and others. It is available on Netflix.

Raised by Wolves

Parenting turned out to be a core theme of The Mandalorian, very unknowingly. In Raised by Wolves, this is what forms the main storyline where we have two androids- Father and Mother, who are tasked with raising human children on Kepler-22b after the Earth faced destruction. The series is created by Aaron Guzikowski and stars Amanda Collin, Abubakar Salim, Winta McGrath, Travis Fimmel, Niamh Algar, Jordan Loughran, Felix Jamieson, Ethan Hazzard and several others. Cowboy Bebop

Not the reboot but, the iconic neo-noir science fiction is what we are talking about here. This Japanese anime has a fan base that has been built over the years and is a cult classic that you cannot afford to miss! It is about a bounty hunter and his group of skilled people on the spaceship called Bebop, who embark on adventures across the Solar System where they aim and assist in capturing criminals.

Firefly

A space drama for hardcore fans belonging to the space opera genre, Firefly is the old gold horse in this line. Created by Joss Whedon, the show is set in the year 2517 where we see the adventures of a renegade crew after they arrive in a new star system. The cast features Nathan Fillion, Gina Torres, Alan Tudyk, Morena Baccarin, Adam Baldwin, Jewel Staite, Sean Maher, Summer Glau and Ron Glass.
