When You was first released in 2018, viewers thought that this might just be another romantic-drama series with a twist. However, what the series ended up being was the inner monologue of a stalker out to find love and acceptance, but whose skewed view of the world and relationships leaves a string of dead bodies in its wake. The show explores love, manipulation and identity in such a twisted way that you end up questioning who the real victim is in this scenario. The series is both addictive and unsettling, with fantastic performance by Penn Badgley, who makes for a very believable maniac!
