Kangchi, The Beginning
A love between a half-human half-mythical creature and a woman who wants to protect him can entail many tragedies. Kangchi, The Begining also known as Gu Family Book is a historical fantasy drama that cannot be missed, especially if you are someone who loves this genre. The plot makes sense, it is captive and gives you all that you want to see. The actors have done a good job and the historical scenes are beautiful. This show will take you on a rollercoaster of emotions and make you fall in love very soon. The Kdrama was released in 2013 which means it is pretty old so the visuals are completely different from what you see these days. But that doesn’t mean that you should miss this show!

The Scholar Who Walks The Night
What could be better than a historical drama with a vampire destined to fight another vampire? That is the gist of the next drama on the list The Scholar Who Walks The Night. The story is tragic, it is beautiful and “bloody” entertaining. While we have two vampires with tragic pasts who are destined to be enemies, the plot can sometimes get chaotic. You would have either love or hate situation with no in-between so there is no pressure to watch it, but do give it a try. The historical aspect of it is strong and the show has got some pretty good costumes that you will like.
A Joseon scholar (who is actually a vampire) recruits a cross-dressing bookseller (who is the daughter of a collapsed noble family branded as traitors) to help him fight another vampire who controls the royal throne. During this journey, there is a lot to be revealed and a lot to fight for. How will this vampire dressed as a scholar fulfil his goal?

Mirror of the Witch
Curses, witchcraft, abandonment, and potions, all put together make this last Kdrama on our list Mirror of the Witch. A plot that has two people who are abandoned by their families but struggle to survive no matter what. This show is a good watch, but it may take some time for the plot to get interesting. However, I would suggest you stick around for some time and wait for it to get interesting. Whereas, concerning the genre, I would say that the team has done a good job in setting the background for the series and will give you all the historical vibes you need.
Mirror of the Witch revolves around a cursed princess Seo Ri, who has been cursed to witness the death of those who love her. While she is abandoned in the mountains, she strives to find a solution for the curse while fixing up potions for the sick. She soon meets Heo Jun who has faced discrimination due to his illegitimate status which compels him to give up his talents. However, seeing Seo Ri trying hard to change her destiny, he starts to believe that he can do the same.
