Scheduled to take place on December 31, the 2023 MBC 가요대제전 will not just be welcoming the leading trendsetters of the new-age K-pop landscape, but also legendary trot singers who haven’t yet performed at any of the shows held so far.

Their exclusive appearance will be announced by the outstanding trio of MCs hosting this year’s ceremony – SHINee’s Minho, Hwang Minhyun and Girls’ Generation’s YoonA. Minho will be making his comeback to the MBC Music Festival stage as one of the MCs for the first time in five years. He was last seen hosting the night of music in 2018, whereas, Minhyun will be making his debut as a host alongside Im Yoon-ah, who’s been consistently joining as an MC since 2015.
