5 Reasons That Prove 2023 is BLACKPINK’s Jennie’s Year

Latest Photoshoot For Calvin Klein

It is indeed Jennnie’s world and we are mere spectators. Her latest collaboration with the brand is all that everyone’s talking about. Showcasing the sleek and sexy designs from the latest campaign, the fans and even the general public can’t stop swooning over her effortlessly bold yet relaxed style. Moreover, each piece from the new range comes with a special tag that includes the brand’s logo reimagined in Jennie’s handwriting.

Met Gala Debut

If you haven’t been living under a rock then you would know how the Met Gala looks were the most trending topic for the past week. From absolutely splendid outfits to some shocking ones, there was a lot to keep a tab off, but amidst them, the K-pop singer showed off a classic look that got a thumbs-up from all the fashionistas.

Making her debut at the event, after her band member Rose was seen at the Met Gala carpet last year; she chose Karl Lagerfeld’s fall 1990 ready-to-wear collection which resonates with her comfortable yet chic personal style. Her black-and-white sartorial choice was definitely a win.

The Idol

The BLACKPINK member will also be making her acting debut in 2023 with the upcoming HBO drama series, The Idol. Also starring Lily-Rose Depp, The Weeknd, Troye Sivan, Moses Sumney, Jane Adams, Dan Levy, Eli Roth and many more, it is rumoured that she will be playing the role of a queer person.

Among the bandmates, she will be the second member after Jisoo to make her acting debut, that too in a Hollywood series which is created by the Euphoria director, Sam Levinson. Many were surprised and equally excited to see her in a sultry yet bold look, as she was shown dancing along with other cast members in the trailer.
