10 Days of A Good Man Trailer: Nejat Isler Turns to the Dark Side While Looking For a Missing Case

10 Days of A Good Man Trailer reveals an upcoming Turkish crime thriller film which is set to be released on Netflix in February. The film is actually based on the novel of the same name and is written by Mehmet Eroglu, who is also responsible for adapting it into a screenplay, along with Damla Serim. It is directed by Uluç Bayraktar (known for Karadayi, Ezel).

The official synopsis of the film reads, “A lawyer turned private investigator takes on a missing person case, propelling him on an unexpected and life-altering quest.” Harmless, self-sacrificing, trustworthy, virtuous, moral and so on. But what’s the use of being a good person? If you’ve never done anybody harm in your entire life, can you say you’re really a good person? If you are willing to get your hands dirty for justice, does that make you a bad person?

The cast of the film includes Nejat İşler, Nur Fettahoğlu, Şenay Gürler, İlayda Alişan, İlayda Akdoğan, Erdal Yıldız, Ata Artman, Esra Ronabar, Barış Falay, Yurdaer Okur, Rıza Kocaoğlu and Kadir Çermik.

10 Days of a Good Man is actually part of a series that will be adapted into three films from the book trilogy, and as a whole will be telling the story of Sadik turning from an ordinary person into an anti-hero, while looking for an answer to these major questions. While Sadik changes from good to bad, from bad to indifferent, those who cross his path get their share of the quakes in his life and none of them manages to stay as clean and innocent as on their first day.

The trailer starts off with him meeting up with someone and from this conversation, we get to know that he had been to prison as well when he says – six years and nine months, 13 months in jail and 77 in total. He is given a case of a boy who has been missing for the last month and we get the visuals of the boy being tortured in a secluded place.

From then on starts his investigation where he isn’t welcomed exactly by the people he tries to get answers from and is often shunned away. People also warn him to not get involved in this as not everyone will be a good man. As his investigation deepens, the lines between good and evil are blurred as Sadik, known as a good man, seeks justice in a world of smugglers and murderers.

Is this a premonition of him turning to the dark side, as he is seen saying, “after all even a good man can turn into a villain when pursuing justice.” But the question remains if his new ways will come in the path of the justice he seeks.
