10 Days of a Bad Man Trailer Breakdown: Nejat Isler Tries Turning Bad, Reveals a New Identity and More

After watching the exciting promo, the wait is over for the 10 Days of a Bad Man trailer breakdown. If you have been a fan of Nejat Isler and his famed role as the private investigator from the Turkish film 10 Days of a Good Man, prepare to be amazed again as the new sequel arrives on Netflix soon. This time the film is expected to go a step ahead, and promises to bring more action and comedy as well.

It has been written by Mehmet Eroglu and Damla Serim, while Uluc Bayraktar serves as the director of the sequel. It is produced by Emrah Gamsizoglu and Kerem Cata, and is known to be adapted from Mehmet Eroglu’s The Ten Days of an Evil Man novel. While the first film received a lot of love from the audience for the brilliant twists and turns in the storyline that makes it an amazing mystery, we’re yet to see what the next one has in store.

The Cast

The film stars Nejat Isler in the lead role as Sadik and Hazal Filiz Küçükköse. The supporting cast also includes Ilayda Akdogan, Mahir Günsiray, Bora Akkas, Senay Gürler and more. Also, Erdal Yildiz and Kadir Cermik feature in the film. From the trailer, it looks like the lead cast have delivered promising performances that will be worth eagerly waiting for.

Nejat Isler’s New Identity

In the trailer of the film, one of the most interesting points that comes across is how the actor reveals that he now goes by a new identity and it’s not that of Sadik. Isler reveals that he has embraced a new identity now and has changed his name to Adil. He reveals how he had to let go of things and form new habits and begin an all-new chapter of his life with this new personality. It was revealed in the previous film how the character idolizes Philip Marlowe’s character from detective novels and noir films.

A New Case

After we learn that Isler’s Sadik has taken a new route and is now living a different life from his private investigator past, he is called back into his old world as a new case awaits. It seems the ‘Good Man’ life isn’t going too well and to work for a new case, he may have to go back to his old ways which require him to return to an action-packed world. The case involves a mansion murder and it will be on Sadik to find the clues in a dangerous situation.

Turning into a Bad Man

As the film’s title suggests, it seems there is some key turn of events that causes Sadik aka Adil to reveal that he will try being bad for a while. He reveals he’s ready to change his mind in the trailer and little hints are dropped about why that may be the case. As a complicated case presents itself, Isler’s character proudly reveals how he is going to use both the truth and his thoughts to find answers.

Action-Packed Journey

The trailer further showcases some thrilling moments including action sequences that seem like they could bring us to the edge of our seats. There is one particular scene that stands out and it showcases the lead characters sharing a kiss in the middle of what looks like a car that is spinning out of control. There’s gun-totting, glass breaking and other eye-opening moments that reveal how the film will take us on an exciting journey as a murder mystery unfolds.

The film is all set to release on Netflix on August 18, 2023.
