Amazing Grace

The documentary was originally scheduled to be released in 1972; however, due to synchronisation issues, it got delayed. The film was left in Warner Bros vault up until 2007 when Alan Elliott purchased it and attempted to fix the problems. The docufilm stars Aretha Franklin recording her 1972 live album of the same name.

Searching for Sugar Man

The 2012 documentary film is about a South African cultural phenomenon, written and directed by Malik Bendjelloul. The film follows two Cape Town fans, Stephen “Sugar” Segerman and Craig Bartholomew Strydom, to find out whether the rumoured death of American musician Sixto Rodriguez was true and, if not, to discover what had become of him.

The docufilm follows American heavy metal band Metallica and their turbulent journey from the years 2001 to 2003. It also includes the production of their album St. Anger. The film is titled after a song from their album St. Anger.
