Young Royals Season 2: First 4 Minutes Has Wilhelm Filled With Remorse and a Thirst for Revenge

After a cliff-hanging season 1, Young Royals season 2 is almost here and is filled with drama, royalty, love and more. Created by Lisa Ambjörn, Lars Beckung and Camilla Holter, the Swedish teen drama stars Edvin Ryding, Omar Rudberg, Malte Gårdinger, Frida Argento, and Nikita Uggla alongside other cast members.

Young Royals revolves around the fictional Prince Wilhelm whose budding romance with fellow student Simon Eriksson proves to be more challenging while his life takes an unexpected and dramatic turn.

Now coming back to Young Royals season 2, earlier today the first 4 minutes of the upcoming sequel have been released and from the looks of it, things are going to get serious very soon. The clip shows Prince Wilhelm remembering the moments shared with Simon, however, he soon wakes up to a reality that only fills him up with remorse.

While his supposed friend August continues to send him apologetic messages, he turns to his brother’s room while shutting his mother outside who pleads to have a discussion before he has to leave. Soon he turns to the pictures in the mirror and sees August in one of them, and burns the friend who betrayed him right out of the picture.

As texts continue to be exchanged with Wilhelm promising to make August’s life hell, the scene shifts and enters the new character Markus. While Sara’s mother hands over a letter she has received which is an acceptance letter which calls for a celebration.

The first four minutes have already proved that this is going to be one hell of a season and is not one to be missed. And after such an intense season 1, I don’t think anyone would want to miss some more drama which is only going to get darker this time.

Gone are the fun days because this season brings you to the darker side of this show that screams revenge!
