Young Royals Season 2 Trailer: Prince Wilhelm-Simon Relationship Takes a New Turn

After a cliff-hanging season 1, Young Royals season 2 is almost here and is filled with drama, royalty, love and more. Created by Lisa Ambjörn, Lars Beckung and Camilla Holter, the Swedish teen drama stars Edvin Ryding, Omar Rudberg, Malte Gårdinger, Frida Argento, and Nikita Uggla alongside other cast members.

Young Royals revolves around the fictional Prince Wilhelm whose budding romance with fellow student Simon Eriksson proves to be more challenging when his life takes an unexpected and dramatic turn.

The trailer of the upcoming season has shed more light on what the new season will bring, and all we can say about this is more drama and a love that is hard to achieve. The clip begins with students being welcomed for the new academic year while Prince Wihelm and Simon are unable to go back to the way they were before the break.

With high tension and awkwardness lurking in the air, the pain of not being able to come together after the incident shook their lives before the break. While the pain of not being able to trust arises within them, Simon tries to take the first step to having a conversation.

On the other hand, August is regretting his actions and turns to Sara to share his feelings that cannot be buried. Elsewhere, a new character- Marcus enters Simon’s life which angers Prince Wilhelm who later warns August of what is to come to him.

August cannot control the wrongs that are happening within himself while Simon questions Prince Wilhelm when he asks to be trusted again. However, this time the latter is determined to make sure that things don’t go wrong again for he is unable to let go of his love and is prepared to fight for what he wants.

The trailer soon comes to an end with scenes of what the exciting season is to bring while Simon questions what will happen to them this time. This season is sure to bring in more drama and fights because gone are the fun days as you are brought to the darker side of this show that screams revenge!
