Wistoria: Wand and Sword Episode 11 Recap
In this episode, one of the most intense and terrifying battles unfolds, with the protagonist narrowly escaping a dire fate. Earlier, the arrival of new villains threw Colette and Lihanna into immediate danger as they were attacked without hesitation. Fortunately, before any harm could be done, Will and the others arrived just in time to save them. However, the assailants retaliated by summoning a fearsome creature known as the Duke.

With a staggering credit value of 270, the Duke’s sheer power instantly makes it clear that the group is outmatched. Realizing they stand no chance in direct combat, they attempt to flee. Wignall offers to act as a distraction to buy time for his friends’ escape but Will steps in to save him. It’s at this point that the group comes to a grim realization: there’s no way out.
The teachers are unable to intervene due to the overwhelming number of monsters, and the Duke relentlessly hunts them down. In the midst of this, Will proposes a plan—dangerous and reckless, but their only shot at survival. Wignall is the first to trust Will, calling him a friend and supporting him without hesitation. Colette, Shion, and even Lihanna rally behind Will’s leadership, with Lihanna going so far as to declare him their leader, though Julius remains sceptical.
Wistoria: Wand and Sword Episode 12 Review And Recap

In this episode, we see Will rising up from despair and trying to face his challenges head-on. Upon seeing that no amount of magic is working on the creature, everyone tries to support Will to the best of their capabilities, and it is Will who makes the last move. Now that he has managed to incorporate both wand and sword, he gets hold of a power that is unlike anything in the world. This move is more powerful than a sword and deadlier than any magic. Thus, our hero manages to finally defeat or completely decapitate the Grand Duke.
However, the threat is not over yet because now that the boss has died, the followers or other creatures in the dungeon start to approach the group as well. In a normal situation, the mages might have been able to defeat all the other creatures, but our protagonist and his friends are very tired and withered from the previous fight. That is when comes to their rescue not just two of their teachers, but also the king of the Magia Vende himself.

However, in the Light King’s party, we find an existence that is of more importance to Will. It is none other than the child that we saw in the previous episode. He makes a surprising comment upon seeing Will on how the sword is still alive. He later introduces himself as Finn, and yes, Finn is far more significant than he might come off right now. Still, the important question remains. Has Will done enough to pass the curriculum? Sadly, there is another important test left, which will ultimately decide Will’s fate. I will not spoil what it will be and urge you to see it for yourself.
Will might not know now, but the situation around him has started to become more unstable. A meeting between Finn and Headmistress Cauldron depicts that Will is not the only sword in this realm and there might have been many like him. Another revelation is that swords like Will, fall under the jurisdiction of Finn, who hails from a race of little people very important for dungeon exploration.
On top of that, we also have the problem of the mystery assailants who had previously caused mass deaths in the dungeon. They might be residing in the deepest parts of the dungeon just so they can conduct experiments. It is apparent they harbour other sinister plans that they might act upon soon.

Verdict
Today’s episode was again, very engaging and entertaining. As a protagonist, Will is constantly being faced with challenges that should have broken anyone’s soul, but he is still going strong. Hopefully, he will be able to achieve his dream and scale the tower to meet his beloved.
