When Life Gives You Tangerines (폭싹 속았수다) follows a rebellious girl with a dream and a boy ready to give him all to fulfil her wishes. A story of endless love, this show takes us to the 1950s. Directed by Kim Won-suk, the drama stars IU, Park Bo-gum, Moon So-ri, Park Hae-joon, Kim Tae-yeon, Lee Chun-moo, and other cast members.
As this new Korean drama continues to hit the list of the top Korean dramas, we look forward to the warm feelings that continue to sprout from the storyline every week. With the show continuing to bring its wonderful story that takes us down memory lane, we eagerly wish to know the new journey that our favourite couple Ae-sun and Gwan-sik are ready to walk on. Here’s What is Next in When Life Gives You Tangerines!
Autumn Sets In
After the stories of the family’s Summers, it is time for Autumn to set in and bring new stories, some old memories, and the beginning of another relationship. As the family reminisce about forgotten and memorable Autumns of their own, we get to see another set of memories of a younger Ae-sun and Gwan-sik, bringing to us a feeling of fulfilment while their older versions continue the story. This new season will bring in the chilly winds that are ready to hit the family, however, their growing love is also here to keep them warm all night long.
Geum-myeong’s Wedding
As teased last week, it is now time to see Geum-myeong’s struggle before she is to get married. There is obviously a whole economic status difference between the two families and it looks like things are going to be hard for Geum-myeong and her parents, but they are sure to get over every hurdle that they come across. And while there doesn’t seem to be much of a problem, Geum-myeong’s future mother-in-law isn’t really ready to accept her in the family. While the tension between the two women is sure to rise, we know that Geum-myeong will also hold on to the person she loves like her mother.
After all the chaos that is set to take place in her love life, we know that a wedding is sure to come along soon and bring us a wonderful end to this week’s episodes.
Ae-sun’s Store
Another intriguing still shared by Netflix Korea is of Ae-sun standing outside a store with her son and the women who sell sea goods with her, while Gwan-sik takes a picture of them. We can say that the women have finally bought a shop along with Ae-sun and are opening it to free themselves from their street stalls. Once again, we are sure to see a communal harmony here as Ae-sun gets help from these older women with the store while the family sets off to another new chapter of their lives.
