As Yong-pil continues to look at Sam-dal with love, he soon realises that they have gone down the wrong path and the 15-minute walk becomes a 2-hour journey to their car.

The two are startled while Sam-dal rushes home, only to find out that her mother had come to check on her and saw her with Yong-pil. However, she gets no answer while Mi-ja tries to talk to Sang-tae but is ignored as always. Meanwhile, Yong-pil looks for his red yarn and finds it in the trash. Elsewhere, Dae-young is excited to see Jin-dal arrive for the theme park presentation and how she handles it better than him, reminding him of their past.
Back in Seoul, Eun-ju overhears that people have once again begun asking for Sam-dal after the chaos has died down which makes her feel threatened. With this in mind, she has another video prepared to once again fire the flames. Meanwhile, Sam-dal takes some of her mother’s kimchi for Yong-pil when Gyeong-tae rushes in and informs them of the video that is going viral.
It is a video of Sam-dal getting slapped by Eun-ju’s mother after she visited her in the hospital. The video is seen by everyone in Samdal-ri, including Mi-ja, who is shocked by what Sam-dal had to bear in the city. Meanwhile, Sam-dal tries to calm Yong-pil who is angered by what he saw and reminds her to not show a strong front here as she has everyone supporting her.
She is not alone in Samdal-ri and can cry as much as she wants as there are many shoulders ready for her. Sam-dal is touched by his words as she finally feels like she is not alone anymore. Later, her sisters grind her for letting the woman beat her when her mother rushes in and asks for Eun-ju’s number.
She is angered by the video and is not ready to let this slide so easily. On the other hand, Eun-ju has made her way to Jeju Island for a photoshoot but her bad behaviour angers her assistants who drop out of the project. Now, she is left with having to find a theme for the shoot all by herself and makes her way to Samdal-ri the next day, believing that Sam-dal will not be there.
Elsewhere, Sam-dal’s friends make their way to the police station to find a way to file a report but are soon cooled down when they realise that it will harm Sam-dal as the public opinion is against her. As Yong-pil and Sang-do regret not scaring Eun-ju and Chung-ki enough last time, Eun-ju’s car passes right in front of them.
Meanwhile, Ha-yul notices Ji-chan outside the aquarium and joins him in his protest to release the dolphins into the sea with her mother. While Hae-dal is surprised by her daughter’s unusual closeness with Ji-chan, the two make their way to the dolphin centre with Ji-chan. There he shares his story of how he rescued a mother dolphin and the time when he saw Ha-yul cry.
Hae-dal is shocked to find out that Ha-yul cried and understands her wish to protect her mother. Ha-yul arrives right then and Hae-dal sweeps her into her arms as the two shed tears of love for each other. Meanwhile, Eun-ju is recognised by Gyeong-tae’s mother and soon Eun-u and his mother arrive to plan their next move.
Eun-ju notices the anomaly and starts to move when Sang-do arrives and a chase begins for the two people who ruined Sam-dal’s life. Meanwhile, Yong-pil is informed about their arrival and so is Mi-ja who is angered. Right then, she sees the two pass in front of her picks up the bucket of vinegar and rushes behind them.
She then overhears Eun-ju talking about how she spread the video so that she can crush any chances of Sam-dal picking herself up which angers her. She then picks up the bucket and pours the vinegar all over the two; leaving Sam-dal and Jin-dal, who had followed her, shocked.

However, Chung-ki holds her hand only to have Yong-pil arrive and push him away as he warns him to stay away from Sam-dal. Triggered by this, Eun-ju calls out to Sam-dal who takes a moment to make sure Eun-ju knows that even if she posts about this incident on the internet, Sam-dal will not care as she is not the one who will be harmed.
Eun-ju is angered by her words and points out that Sam-dal is acting like this place is her territory. Sam-dal agrees to her words and tells her to leave her turf as this is not Seoul but her hometown. The group then leaves following which Mi-ja becomes persistent about not letting anyone bully her daughters henceforth.

Elsewhere, Sam-dal shares her happiness with Yong-pil and tells him that she no longer feels alone as she finally feels that she has her team cheering for her in this world.
Even when Yong-pil asks her if she will return to Seoul, Sam-dal denies it as she will now achieve everything that Sam-dal wanted to achieve. Meanwhile, Sang-tae finds out that Yong-pil has been punished because of Mi-ja’s incident and is now given the responsibility to drive Sam-dal around.
Thus, when Sam-dal and Yong-pil reminisce about their memories, Sang-tae barges into the hideout and asks Sam-dal why she did not keep her promise. As he continues to shout at Sam-dal for returning to Samdal-ri, Yong-pil finally understands why Sam-dal broke up with him all those years ago.
