Weak Hero Class 2: Park Ji-hoon Set To Embark On New School Journey, New Cast Unveiled

Netflix confirmed the new cast for Weak Hero Class 2 today, on December 4, 2023, and it’s already stirring excitement among fans. Its first season not only entertained audiences but also shed light on one of the significant issues students face in school. Adapted from SeoPass’s webtoon of the same name, 약한영웅 시즌2 is poised to introduce us to a new cast, with Park Ji-hoon portraying Yeon Shi-Eun as he transitions to his new school.

The story of the Weak Hero Class centres around Yeon Shi-eun, a model student who consistently ranks at the top of his high school. Despite his physical appearance suggesting weakness, he cleverly utilises his intelligence, psychological insight, and friendships to combat the pervasive violence within and outside the school. Despite his attempts to avoid confrontation, bullies persistently target him, resulting in a severe injury to his friend, leaving them in a coma.

As the new season unfolds, Yeon Shi-eun transfers to a different school, carrying the burden of failing to protect his friend from school violence. Determined never to lose another friend, he vows to confront all challenges head-on. The new cast boasts an impressive lineup of talented actors, including Choi Min-yeong, known for their roles as Dae in Xo Kitty, and Ryeoun as Ha Eun-gyeol in Twinkling Watermelon, a show that deeply touched audiences with its exceptional performances. Lee Min-jae is known for his role as Seo Geon-hoo from Crash Course in Romance, along with Lee Cheol-san portraying Yoo Soo-bin in Start-Up, among others.

Fans might be disappointed as Ahn Soo-ho, played by Choi Hyun-wook, isn’t listed in the cast. Given his character’s coma in the previous season, the focus will primarily shift to Yeon Shi-eun’s new school environment this season.
