Vinland Saga Season 2 Episode 6 is the sixth episode of the latest season of one of the most anticipated sequels of this year. Vinland Saga is an action, adventure, and drama series directed by Shuuhei Yabuta and based on an original manga written by Makoto Yukimura. The latest season is being animated by Studio MAPPA.
A tale set in the golden age of Vikings, Vinland Saga follows Thorfinn, son of the greatest warrior ever to set foot in the world, Thors. Even after Thors moves away from the violence he had been embroiled in since his youth, it finds him and his family anyways as he tragically lost his life to the same people he once deemed his fellow warriors. Thorfinn swears vengeance and vows to defeat the person who started it all and to find the fabled Vinland, a paradise somewhere west.
Season 1, or the prologue of the series, saw Thorfinn become a vassal of the newest king of England and Denmark, Canute. However, in a tragic turn of events, he was unable to avenge his dead father by killing Askeladd, as he tragically lost his life trying to save his homeland from being invaded by the Vikings. Thorfinn must now find a new purpose in life, one that doesn’t involve revenge and eating his life in a fruitless pursuit. It is time to see how Thorfinn grows as a person.

Vinland Saga Season 2 Episode 6 Plot
After spending an episode with Canute and his army, watching them try and take over an entire country with horrible war tactics, a diversion to Einar and Thorfinn doing wacky stuff together is a great idea. This episode is finally going to see them working on their future field again and is apparently going to focus on the old horse they first took pity on in the second episode. Not the most riveting plot point after what we saw, but we can trust the show enough to allow it a goofy premise or two.

We are going to see the repercussions of the moment Einar and Thorfinn had in the previous episode we saw them in, as Einar fantasised about killing Thorfinn just for being a part of the raids that killed his entire family. However, being the kind person that he is, he appears to have moved on from having those thoughts for now. Thorfinn is already suffering enough and doesn’t need Einar to be in the worst mental anguish imaginable.

He struggles to get a foothold in England as an exiled king from the region’s past comes back to try and reclaim his title after being ousted by the previous king. He faces resistance from the English kings, as well as the new contender for the kingdom, as he struggles to hold back Thorkell from battles. We finally see how far he is willing to go to become king as he creates a path of blood through an entire region.
