Venom 2 aka Venom: Let There Be Carnage was quick enough to establish the fact the superhero film series, above all, is the chaotic affair between Venom and Carnage. The second film in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe, directed by Andy Serkis and written by Kelly Marcel and Hardy, the film became one of the highest-grossing films of 2021 but maintained a mixed review point of view from critics.
But subtly hidden between the lines of the films is a love story that only true fans have been quick enough to understand. However, Sony did not hold back this feeling in all the fans’ hearts and converted the film that we know as Venom 2 from being a thriller film to a romantic comedy. Sony has officially released a new promo for the home media release of Venom: Let There Be Carnage. The re-edited movie trailer takes away the horror aspect of the film, making it a good to goo Christman Rom-Com.

The official parody trailer features snippets of the story similar to what we have seen on screen but, changing the direction and tone of the film completely by adding a Christmas-special background score.
Meanwhile, a third film in the film series is already on its way. So, this is, in fact, a really clever way for Sony to send a reminder to the fans. Now that the “multiverse is real” there are chances that a Venom-Spider-Man crossover can happen in the third film. The probability of Spider-Man’s showing up was also teased in Venom 2‘s end credits.
The film is now available on digital platforms and is expected to arrive on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD by December 14, 2021.
