Upcoming Netflix Nature Documentaries to Look Forward to : Streaming giant Netflix has announced its slate of upcoming natural documentaries over the course of two years. The innate look at our environment and its wildlife will feature some of the most fascinating fauna and flora from around the world. Morever, these documentaries will be narrated by Academy Award winner Morgan Freeman (Invictus, Shawshank Redemption).
The rest of the production team involved in the making of these features will include emmy-nominated directors and cinematographers, known for producing one of the finest nature and wildlife features. Furthermore, British broadcaster and biologist David Attenborough will contribute to the projects.

The announcement video by Netflix gave us a sneak peek into the making of these Nature Documentaries. This included a glimpse of deep water creatures, arctic species, rare birds and some of the most dangerous land animals. All of which is enough to excite any fan of raw nature.
The first in the line of releases include Our Universe, which will feature some astonishing use of CGI and VFX for curating the wonders of our cosmos. The groundbreaking six-part series would revolve around enticing questions about the universe, and provide a visually stunning answer to all of them. Whereas, Our Planet II (Narrated by David Attenborough) will feature a deep dive into animal and bird migration around different parts of the world.
Life on our Planet, Our Oceans, Our Living World, Our Water World will form the final part of the release slate. Each of these explores the minute miracle of our planet in all three aspects- Land, Air and Water. Apart from being a commentary about the beauty of present events, the documentaries will also provide a vision for conservative our green future.
The snapshots of the documentaries, as visible from the announcement video, clearly capture the magnificent vibe. It promises to be an engaging ride filled with a surprising element of nature and its habitants. Moreover, the platform released another acclaimed natural documentary Island of the Sea Wolves, narrated by Will Arnett ( Arrested Development, Bojack Horseman), which featured the Vancouver Island wilderness.

Our Universe will release on November 22, and Our Planet II and Life on Our Planet are set to release in 2023. Morever, Our Oceans and Our Living World will drop in 2023, followed by Our Water World in 2025. You can watch all these documentaries on Netflix. I love all animal documentaries, especially those with lions or primates as the lead characters. I really feel there are not enough out there. I’m sure I’ve seen them all. Netflix has done a great job with docs and can only how they will be more in the works with my favorite animals. They did an amazing job with stories and cinematography. Great job, Netflix.
