Unseen Season 2 Ending Explained

The story opens with Zenzile getting saved from the rooftop and put behind bars by Detectives Morkel and Lyners. Although Lyners desperately begs for Zenzile to tell her the entire truth of why she committed these murders, sensing that something is amiss, she refuses to defend herself and agrees to whatever fate is waiting for her. However, prison life is more difficult than she imagined, and with her reputation during the rounds, she is constantly threatened by the other inmates.

Thankfully, she finds a friend in a reclusive LK, who looks out for her. Soon, Zenzile learns that she is pregnant with Max’s baby and gets a renewed lease of life and accepts Lyners’s help to get her out. She tells the detective whatever she knows, but is disappointed to learn that she can’t get out of prison easily. However, she does have hope.

Unfortunately, that doesn’t last, and she is soon stabbed by LK in prison, leaving her heavily wounded. She is taken to the hospital where she is attacked once again but is able to escape and teach her sister’s house. Elsewhere, Lyners investigates further and, with Lufuno’s help, is able to get to the bottom of the OCM Bank scam, learning that they have been embezzling money from their account holders. Also in this mess are Andrew Harting, Jacob Butler and Reuben Theron, who are systematically trying to wipe away any dissenting voices. Max discovered this scheme, which resulted in Theron and Harting getting rid of him, and thus, they are also after Zenzile.

Lyners meets Jacob Butler, who seems to be on the fence with all the illegal activities, and he agrees to talk to her. However, this makes Harting suspicious and eventually both Butler and Lyners are murdered by JK. Meanwhile, Zenzile takes Lufuno’s help to get out of the country and go to Zimbabwe to start her life afresh, but JK threatens her sister to get her to come back just as she’s about to escape. Pulled in the mess once again, she kills one of JK’s associates to help her sister and brother-in-law and eventually Naledi and Zenzile escape to save themselves.

On the way, they stop by their childhood home so that Zenzile can collect her mother’s necklace, which opens up old wounds. Naledi learns that their abusive, alcoholic father has turned his life around and that Zenzile had killed their mother during her last moments. Before they address this, Harting’s men arrive at the home, killing everyone except the sisters, who eventually part ways. In the midst of this, Lufuno teams up with Morkel, who, after Lyners’s death, has had a change of heart and decided to look into Lyners’s claims about a deeper conspiracy.
