Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister Episode 2 Recap

Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister Episode 3 Review 3 Is Better Than 1

The Amagami sisters and Uryu are stunned when they discover that Uryu has been chosen as a potential husband for one of the sisters. As part of this arrangement, he is expected to inherit and manage the family shrine alongside his future wife. However, this news unsettles Uryu, who has always aspired to be a doctor, not a priest. Despite reassurances from the sisters’ grandfather that Uryu can pursue both professions, Uryu firmly rejects the idea.

Things take a turn when Uryu learns that if he refuses the proposal, he will have to leave the house. Reluctantly, he agrees to stay. Yuna, one of the sisters, is particularly upset and devises a scheme to drive him out by assigning him difficult tasks. She has him cook meals for everyone, do the laundry, and clean the eldest sister’s extremely messy room. Yet, much to their surprise, Uryu completes each task with impressive skill and speed. Although he’s able to handle the chores, his studies begin to suffer as he struggles to balance everything.

Realizing that the situation is becoming unmanageable, Uryu eventually decides to leave the household. But the sisters follow him back to the orphanage, where they get a glimpse of the life he had before moving in with them.

Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister Episode 3 Review And Recap

The first day of official marriage meetings has started, and Uryu must give his time to all three girls equally. The first candidate with whom he will have to start the meeting is the youngest, Asahi. At first, he thinks that she is a child who doesn’t know anything about this meeting, and hence, he shouldn’t worry about being serious. However, he realises that Asahi is more playful than he originally thought.

She totally enjoys teasing Uryu and even gets in the groove with the whole matchmaking thing. Not only that, but she also suggests they go out on a run together and even start a race. Later, she also tells him to help her at the storehouse, where they, in a very cliched way, get trapped and spend some time together. But that is not all, as Uryu goes on a marriage meeting with the second daughter next.

Yuna was far too serious about the whole marriage meeting like it was a burden. She transforms herself into a polite maiden and goes along with Uryu in a friendlier way than ever before. This sudden change in behaviour obviously makes Uryu very uncomfortable, and only later he finds out the reason behind her antics. At last, we also see him go on a marriage meeting with the eldest daughter, which goes better than the other ones.

Till now, Uryu has been in matchmaking with all the sisters and towards the end, everyone grew a visible crush on him. This is because even though our male protagonist might seem cold on the outside, he is pretty understanding and kind-hearted. Not just them, but even Uryu, who was not interested in this whole charade, is also becoming more inclined towards the girls.

Verdict

Today’s episode was pretty interesting, as we see the characters get along a lot better than before. It is still a mystery whom our hero will choose, but right now, the options are very difficult to pick from. There is a high chance that we might go for the harem route.
