Two Graves Ending Explained
The episode opens with Marta and Veronica going to a fair and, from there, getting a lift from an unknown man to go somewhere else and ultimately going missing. After days of search, Marta’s body is found, but as two years pass, nothing more comes out of the case. With the investigation now coming to a close, Isabel decides to take things into her own hands, first questioning Marta’s father, Rafael, and eventually following Jonas, one of the suspects in the case initially, around.
Initially hesitant, Jonas shares that Rafael is a maniac who badly injured him previously. Either way, he shares that they were meeting someone else and declined to come with him to a party, but isn’t able to share who. He dropped them off somewhere, and that’s it. The next morning, one of her students, Beltran, recognises her earrings as Veronica’s and, suspicious, she mixes sleeping pills in his coffee to get more information out of him.

She starts to torture him, but he promises that he’s innocent. Isabel almost falls for his words, but when she catches him in another lie, she attacks him until he tells her the truth – they went to a high-profile party and were probably prostituting themselves. Overwhelmed with this information, an emotional Isabel hammers Beltran to death.
With no other avenues left, she meets up with Rafael and gives him Carlos Jaen’s name, also asking him to get rid of Beltran’s body. Meanwhile, the police get their hands on Beltran’s computer and find sexual pictures of them at a luxury chalet. As the police resume their investigation, Rafael tells Isabel about the information he got from Carlos and tries to find a woman with a birthmark on her forehead. Isabel finds her in the school’s records, but learns that she left soon after what happened to Marta and Veronica.
When Carlos isn’t able to give more information, Isabel is shocked to learn from Antonio that Isabel is still alive.
What happened to Veronica and Marta?

In episode 3, we learn that Veronica and Marta had gone to the party on their own free will and taken some drugs while there. After dancing for some time, Marta started feeling unwell, and Carlos forced her to go with him, eventually raping her. A worried Veronica rushes to find her and discovers Marta in that state.
She later comes home to Antonio, and the two go back to the party, where he finds Marta’s body on the ground. Veronica calls it an accident, implying that she had something to do with her death. A frustrated and scared Antonio decides to protect her daughter and ends up getting rid of Marta’s body and sending Veronica away to live with a friend in Morocco. Although it was supposed to be just a few days, it ended up turning into 2 years.
The truth eventually comes out that the three girls argued afterwards when Marta wanted to report what happened to her, and the other girls refused. In a scuffle, Veronica pushed Marta, which resulted in her bashing her head on a nearby seat and dying on the spot.
Does Isabel get her revenge?

With Veronica now alive, Isabel realises that telling Rafael was probably not the best idea. When Rafael finds Jamila, she starts to lose her mind and tells Antonio to report Rafael. Realising that her time’s up and everyone will figure out the truth, she rushes to find Jamila while the police pick up Rafael. With everything coming undone, she drugs Jamila and is about to attack her when she suddenly runs into Veronica at her place.
What happens in the end?

Rafael arrives at Jamila’s house soon after, looking for answers, but the three women run off before he can catch them. At an old hideout, Isabel and Veronica reconnect, and the morning after, Isabel leaves the two girls behind to meet Rafael alone. She implores him to stop searching, but, realising that it won’t happen, decides to split the girls up and keep them safe in one way or another. She picks Rafael up and tries to calm him down, but when he refuses to listen, she throws them both off the road and into the ocean, killing them both but protecting her family in the end.
