True to Love Episode 9 Reactions: Bo-ra’s Antics Give Second-Hand Embarrassment to Viewers

True to Love Episode 9 Reactions feel embarrassed on Bo-ra’s behalf, which makes her relationship worse with Su-hyeok. Also known as Bo-ra! Deborah (보라! 데보라) is the latest romantic comedy-drama series on Amazon Prime Video. Co-directed by Lee Tae-gon and Seo Min-jeong, the K-Drama is developed by KT Studio Genie from a screenplay written by Ah Kyung and broadcasted on ENA primarily.

The ensemble cast of the show includes Yoo In-na as Yeon Bo-ra/Deborah, Yoon Hyun-min as Lee Soo-hyeok, Joo Sang-wook as Han Sang-jin, Hwang Chan-sung as Noh Joo-wan, Park So-jin as Lee Yu-jeong, Koo Jun-hoe as Yang Jin-ho, Kim Ye-ji as Yeon Bo-mi, Lee Sang-woon as Yang Jin-woo and many others.

All the viewers were looking forward to seeing Episode 9 after the kiss cliffhanger, last week. However, instead of being a start of a budding romance, it takes a different turn, where none of the characters are ready to acknowledge their feelings. Despite trying to make it seem like nothing happened, Bo-ra makes things worse by spilling out any nonsense in order to not make it a big deal.

But secretly she wished that Su-hyeok might feel something for her, even a slight crush. Not getting absolutely no reaction from him & even a stern ‘No’ on asking if he has feelings for her directly, made her feel disappointed. On top of that, her joking banter with Yu-jeong, when she got to know about his reluctance to sign her, worked like extra fuel on the blazing fire.

While the preview shows that they finally clear their misunderstandings, the viewers are also amazed at Jin-ho and Bo-mi’s relationship. Looking at how the date was going so badly, they expected her to dump him for being too ‘try-hard’. Unexpectedly, she appreciated his efforts and one can assume, that they will be bringing in the innocent love angle to the story.

If anything then the drama has been consistent with its unpredictable elements and somewhat fresh perspective of love stories. With only five episodes remaining, many are looking forward to seeing how the lead protagonists come to realise their feelings for each other. Also, with Yu-ri’s comeback in their life, how will it affect them, when Bo-ra realises that she was the one to suggest a breakup?
