The story follows Yeon Bo-ra, who, under the name of Deborah, works as a dating coach & is a best-selling author. She has advice for everyone regarding dating and relationships but can’t say the same about her own love life. However, things might change when she meets a cold guy as her publisher, Lee Soo-hyuk, who doesn’t values the work of a dating coach. At first, they are at crossroads but slowly try to understand and get to know each other.

In Episode 11, Bo-ra tries to stop Su-hyeok when he is about to leave for Yu-ri. She criticizes Yu-ri for being clingy but soon realizes she does not have the right to do so, as she was the same in front of Ju-wan. Yet the meet-up turns out to be a good thing as Su-hyeok was able to give closure to Yu-ri & realised how much he has grown emotionally due to Bo-ra.
He keeps her promise to her & decides to catfish all of Bo-ra’s friends & especially Ju-wan, by portraying himself as the man deeply in love with her. It definitely worked on everyone, as Ju-wan was trying to win her back by continuously texting and wanting to meet her. For the first time, Bo-ra was able to see through it all & helped her change the direction of her book to self-growth & healing.

The last episode ends at a cliffhanger where Su-hyeok leans in, which looks like they are about to kiss again, but it’s highly unlikely. In the preview, they coincidentally meet up with Su-hyeok’s parents, who also think of it as a proper date. Also, it’s safe to say that the ex’s chapter is finally closed for both of them, as they attend Yu-ri’s wedding, who walks down the aisle happily.
There might also be some heartbreak in the next episode, as Sang-jin will be turning down U-ri’s feelings for him. We see him finding some solace with his ex-wife, and it will be interesting to see if they will clear out their misunderstandings.
