As seen in the last episode, Bo-ra runs back to Su-hyeok’s car and tells him not to go. She takes his car key & tries to run away, but her heels come in the way. She tells him that Yu-ri is just being clingy & trying to shake him up to see if he has any feelings left. But she soon realises that she has done the same in front of Ju-wan & is in no position to criticise Yu-ri since she was taking Su-hyeok along to make her ex-boyfriend jealous.

Su-hyeok assures her that he knows the address and will reach there once he has a talk with Yu-ri. While Bo-ra calls Yu-jeong & Jin-woo to pick her up from the side of the road, Su-hyeok reaches the restaurant where Yu-ri was drinking alone. She tells him how none of her wedding dresses looked good on her & she had a meltdown thinking if she is even making the right decision.

She tells Su-hyeok that she regrets breaking up & it’s all because of Bo-ra it happened. However, Su-hyeok finally shares his sincere feelings with her and says that he really loved her & never labelled the relationship because he thought it was obvious. He even bought the ring because he thought he will marry her only, but if he wanted, he could have given her the ring, despite everything. Yet he didn’t, and that made him realise that he wasn’t ready for it.

After hearing his side, Yu-ri calms down, and just then, her fiance comes to find her. Stumped to see Su-hyeok there, he isn’t able to grasp what was happening, but Su-hyeok quickly tells him that he is a college senior and makes up a lie for Yu-ri’s meltdown. On the other hand, Bo-ra gets taunted by her bride-to-be friend.

The bride tries to show how happy she really is, but the endless shooting makes the couple cranky. In the spur of the moment, the couple starts fighting and breaking all the decorations apart, only to patch up soon after, when the groom says that he will make more effort since he loves the bride. It reminds Bo-ra of herself & how she also tried to make an effort for both partners, yet it ended badly.

Coincidentally, Ju-wan and Su-hyeok turn up at the same time as Bo-ra runs to meet him by the parking lot. He seems to have it all figured out and decides to put on the show of a fake couple right from the start. He walks in holding Bo-ra’s hand & introduces himself as her colleague and the person who likes her.

Throughout the evening, he treats Bo-ra sweetly like a man deeply in love with her, making all her friends & Ju-wan jealous. The effects can be seen right away when Ju-wan tries to intimidate him and even start texting Bo-ra randomly, ever since coming back from the wedding shoot. At first, he pretends to have sent the message by mistake but gradually starts asking her personal questions & lastly, to meet once.

He tries to portray that he is trying to look out for her by saying that Bo-ra shouldn’t trust Su-hyeok easily. While she can see through all the farce, she smilingly answers back everything calmly & shows him that she has no intention of even being friends with Ju-wan. This interaction, in a way, helps her to change the direction of her book – from winning your ex back to growing yourself & healing your broken heart.

She gives an example of the movie 500 Days of Summer and how the breakup was justified. This gives Su-hyeok the idea to ask Bo-ra out for a movie date. Meanwhile, Bo-mi and Jin-ho seem to have learnt how to communicate with each other and not blindly follow dating tips from anyone. However, Sang-jin is curious and, at the same time, worried about Bang U-ri’s feelings for him & and whether he should even reciprocate.

True to Love Episode 11 Review

The episode showed how Bo-ra and Su-hyeok have grown so much emotionally and are able to rationalise their feelings. It’s a matter of time before they realise that they might be liking each other, a bit more. However, Yu-jeong’s married life seems to be going downhill & could end up at a deciding point where they might even go separate ways or find a solution to their increasing distance.

True to Love (Bo-ra! Deborah) is currently available to watch on Amazon Prime Video.
