True Beauty Costars Cha Eun-woo and Moon Ga-young Reunite; Here’s Why!

In 2020, though viewers were constantly debating over the hottest K-drama love triangle of the season surrounding the True Beauty costars Cha Eun-woo, Moon Ga-young and Hwang In-youp, who played their characters Su-ho, Ju-kyung and Seo-jun respectively in the then webtoon storyline adapted for the small screen, the former two have often resurfaced in headlines even years after the show’s conclusion. Both actors’ onscreen chemistry spoke volumes to their fans who eventually started speculating if they were dating each other in real life.

With them being spotted at the beach together, pictures of the day started spreading earlier this year and fans again started rooting for their supposed romantic relationship. However, a new perspective at it all has dispelled any such rumours and set the record straight as to why Cha Eun-woo and Moon Ga-young had been seen together.

Turns out, the former K-drama partners have once again joined forces and come back together for a new project. Unfortunately, it’s not to bring the fans’ Season 2 dreams back alive, but for a commercial. Moon Ga-young recently took to her Instagram stories to post a snap of Eunwoo at the beach during their shoot for the same project. Additionally, she also posted her pictures from the same location onto her handle.

Comments started spilling at full-speed as soon as the post went live on the Hanhwa life Insurance Instagram page. Although some netizens felt disheartened that this collaboration didn’t fruitfully point towards the sequel of True Beauty Kdrama, others were just glad to see their favourites share the screen together even if it meant for the project to be a short-lived one. In other comments listed under the post, some Instagram users are still hopeful for their reunion and the show to be green-lit for another season.
