The highly anticipated return of South Korea’s beloved reality dating series, EXchange (환승연애 시즌3), premiered on TVING on December 29, 2023, igniting fervour among its dedicated fan base for the latest episode, Transit Love Season 3 Episode 14. With each successive instalment, the show has been skilfully guiding viewers through an emotional odyssey centred on themes of love and second chances. Transit Love Season 3 Episode 12 Recap
Season 3, Episode 12 of Exchange kicks off with the introduction of the new guest host, none other than Lim Seul-ong, who not only graces the show with his presence but also shares insights into one of its OSTs, a track deeply personal to him as he penned it five years ago during a heart-wrenching breakup. As he delves into the emotional origins of the song, it sets the tone for the unfolding drama.
The episode proceeds with the participants embarking on a journey to Jaju Island alongside their chosen partners. Lee Yu-jung and Lee Ju-won’s date brims with blossoming affection, their connection palpable as they traverse moments laden with burgeoning love. Similarly, Seo Dong-jin and Lee Hye-won’s excursion sparks a newfound comfort between them, with Dong-jin confessing to viewing Hye-won not just as a friend but as a potential romantic interest.
Choi Chang-jin and Song Da-hye, too, find themselves growing closer, their compatibility evident as they navigate their time together. Meanwhile, Lee Seo-kyung, Kong Sang-jeong, Cho Hwi-hyeon, and Kim Kwang-tae, though not initially chosen, find solace in each other’s company, yet a budding love triangle emerges as Kwang-tae’s interest in Seo-kyung becomes apparent, reciprocated by Sang-jeong’s subtle gestures.

Upon reaching the picturesque house in Jeju Island, dynamics shift as revelations unfold. Kwang-tae’s surprise at seeing his former flame, Hye-won, paired with Dong-jin, sets the stage for an emotional rollercoaster. As participants gather, a mysterious message appears on a garden screen, signalling the revelation of each other’s exes, a truth concealed until now. Emotions run high as videos expose hidden connections, culminating in the shocking revelation of Sang-jeong and Kwang-tae’s true partners Just when the dust seems to settle, two unexpected arrivals disrupt the equilibrium—the respective exes of Kwang-tae and Sang-jeong, adding an unforeseen layer of complexity to the unfolding drama.
Kong Sang-jeong’s ex was Seo Min-hyung, and Kim Kwang-tae’s ex was Lee Jong-eun. Interestingly, both of them turned out to be doctors. Later, a new envelope arrived, welcoming both new participants and instructing them to choose someone for a date, excluding their exes. Min-hyung chose Seo-kyung, while Jong-eun chose Dong-jin.
Transit Love Season 3 Episode 13 Recap
The next episode picks up where the previous one left off, with all the participants receiving their assigned wings to reside in the Jeju house. There were three wings: brown, green, and purple. In the brown wing, Lee Seo-kyung, Kong Sang-jeong, Cho Hwi-hyeon, and Kim Kwang-tae settled in. Lee Yu-jung, Lee Hye-won, Seo Dong-jin, and Seo Min-hyung occupied the green wing, leaving the remaining participants in the purple wing.
After settling into their respective wings and having dinner, it was time for them to send a text to someone who had made their day better. However, this time there was a twist. The sender’s name was revealed along with the recipient, causing tension as everyone now knew each other’s exes and current interests.
As the messages were sent, Min-hyung noticed Sang-jeong was crying when he entered the show so he approached her to see if she was okay. They discussed the texts, during which Sang-jeong confessed her feelings for Hwi-hyeon. She expressed uncertainty about her own desires but assured Min-hyung that he was free to pursue anyone he wanted, offering her support if needed.
Meanwhile, Hye-won sought clarity from Hwi-hyeon regarding their relationship after exchanging texts. She wanted to know if he had feelings for someone else so she could move on, but Hwi-hyeon hesitated to make a decision, leaving their conversation unresolved and causing further distance between them. Later, Kwang-tae intervened to bring them together for a discussion. He expressed his desire to go on a date with Hye-won to understand his own feelings better and suggested they shouldn’t avoid each other, believing it would bring clarity to their situation.
Transit Love Season 3 Episode 14 Preview
In the next episode, we will see Lee Jong-eun going on a horse-riding date with Seo Dong-jin, and they exchange conversation that makes him feel that she is very similar to him. Meanwhile, Seo Min-hyung goes on a date with Lee Seo-kyung to a very romantic place, where Min-hyung feels that she is more like a woman than a friend. In the house, Choi Chang-jin and Song Da-hye’s bond seems to be getting stronger as they joke around with each other, which makes Lee Yu-jung a little uncomfortable, as Chang-jin wasn’t that fun when she was dating him.
Additionally, we will also witness a very cold side of Dong-jin as Da-hye tries to talk to him, but he seems disinterested and even expresses that he doesn’t want to talk to her anymore, emphasizing that the show’s name is ‘Exchange’ and not ‘Get Back Together’. In the next episode, we will once again experience a rollercoaster of emotions, ranging from love to hate and jealousy.
