‘Tomorrow’ Actress Kim Hee-seon To Star In A New Drama, Deets Inside!

Kim Hee-seon has been working in the Korean Entertainment Industry for 30 years and has been a popular actress in Korea. However, her recent Kdrama Tomorrow on Netflix shot her to global fame. The actress played the lead role in a series of a grim reaper name Gu-ryeong who was the leader of the crisis management team of Jumadeung.

Hee-seon’s acting was loved and appreciated by the viewers and they hoped to see her in another project. They don’t have to wait for long now as Netflix has announced a new series with the actress as the lead. In Remarriage And Desires, the actress will play the role of Seo Hye-seung, an upper middle-class housewife who lives in Gangnam.

Kim Hee-seon In ‘Remarriage And Desires’

On 9th June 2022, the Instagram page of Netflix Korea and The Swoon Netflix shared the new poster for Remarriage And Desires in Korean and English respectively. The Korean title of the series translates to The Bride Of Black. The series will be a satire on Korean Society’s upper-class marriages, revolving around a company that provides marriage services to upper-class people. Netflix promises that this series is an emotion-packed drama. Netflix Korea describes the series as, “She entered the upper-class marriage business for revenge. Hye-seung’s revenge begins at the forefront of desire to trade terms, not love.”

Along with Kim Hee-seon, Lee Hyun-wook, Jung Yoo-jin, Cha Ji-yeon and Park Hoon will also be a part of the drama. Kim Sak-won and Lady Jane will be seen in supporting roles. The drama is written by by Lee Geun-yeong, directed by Kim Jeong-min and created by JTBC Studios. The series will premiere exclusively on Netflix on July 15, 2022.
