Fans of Thor Love and Thunder it is a treat for you yet again as a new still from the upcoming Marvel movie has surfaced. It does not only feature two of the characters we are most looking forward to but, also teases a Black Panther 2 connection. Directed and written by Taika Waititi, with co-writer Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, this upcoming Marvel movie will serve as a direct sequel to the 2017 masterpiece Thor: Ragnarok and makes up for the 29th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Chris Hemsworth will reprise in the titular role. The other cast members include Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson, Christian Bale, Chris Pratt, Jaimie Alexander, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, Jeff Goldblum, and Vin Diesel. The recent picture that has surfaced features Portman and Thompson seated on their respective thrones, looking visibly worried. Joining them in this picture is Bast, the god worshipped by Wakandans in Black Panther, portrayed by Akosia Sabet. Fans have taken over Twitter to speculate a lot of things in regard to this particular scene.
Some fans are determined that Bast’s appearance is more or less the film tying itself up to the upcoming Black Panther movie. Whereas there are others who are giving more emphasis to the scene at hand saying that it is connected to the arrival of Christian Bale’s Gorr the God Butcher, which is why the Gods looked so worried.
