Thor Love and Thunder is the second Marvel movie of 2022 that will be releasing in theatres. Directed by Taika Waititi, the film stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson, Russel Crowe and Christian Bale. The trailer was released last month and received a great response from the fans. After Thor: Ragnarok, fans can’t wait to see Chris and Taika’s collaboration.
The movie is slated to release on July 8, 2022, worldwide. However, Love and Thunder will arrive early in theatres for fans in India. Instead of Friday, Thor 4 will release in Indian theatres on July 7, Thursday. Marvel India officially confirmed the news on their social media pages with a brand new poster.
On Instagram, Marvel India shared, “Get ready for the ultimate ‘THORSDAY’! ???? Marvel Studios’ #ThorLoveAndThunder ❤️+⚡ arrives in cinemas in India a day before, on the 7th of JULY.” In the comments section, fans have shared their excitement to watch the movie.

Meanwhile, Thor: Love and Thunder is set after the events of Avengers: Endgame. In a trailer share in May, we saw Thor along with the Guardians of the Galaxy team. The audience will get to see more banter between Thor and Star-Lord, played by Chris Pratt. The film also stars Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan and Pom Klementieff.

In the film, the God of Thunder decides to take retirement from being a superhero. His ex-girlfriend Jane now wields Mjolnir. Together, they have to fight a very big threat – Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale). As the name suggests, Gorr hates Gods and wants to kill them all.
