The Wrath of God: Everything About Netflix’s Upcoming Dark Argentinian Thriller

The Wrath Of God (La Tra De Dios) is an Argentinian thriller film which is set to be released on Netflix in June. The film is based on the book by Guillermo Martínez, which was later adapted into a screenplay written by Schnidel and Pablo Del Teso. The film is directed by Sebastián Schnidel and produced by Buffalo Films. Sebastián Mentasti and Horacio Mentasti also serve as executive producers in the film.

The film will have a runtime of about 1 hour and 38 minutes and will be available in Spanish and English languages with subtitles. The film revolves around the theme of deception, death and seeking the truth. What happens when someone accuses a famous writer of murdering their family? Will he get convicted or is this a trap for something more sinister to come?

The Wrath of God Film Plot/Synopsis

The official synopsis of the film The Wrath Of God (La Tra De Dios) on Netflix reads as – convinced the tragic deaths of her loved ones were orchestrated by a famous novelist she worked for, Luciana turns to a journalist to expose her truth. Luciana (Macarena Achaga), is immersed in a circle of mysterious deaths of her relatives, as her family becomes smaller and smaller around her. The film seeks to reveal the truth behind the deaths with the help of journalist Esteban, played by Juan Minujín.

An enigmatic writer, her former boss (Diego Peretti), is suspected by Luciana of murdering her family whereas the novelist calls her mad and claims that she is making up stories against him. The obsessive struggle to save the life of her only living relative, her younger sister Valentina might land Luciana in bigger trouble. The film is a crossroads between reason and death, a race against time to bring the truth to light and to get revenge.
