The White Lotus Season 2 Finale Memes and Reactions: Fans Have a Lot to Say About the Murders and the Twists!

The White Lotus Season 2 finale is called ‘Arrivederci’. It was written and directed by Mike White. The show stars F Murray Abraham as Bert Di Grasso, Jennifer Coolidge as Tanya McQuoid (from season 1), Jon Gries as Greg Hunt and Tanya’s husband, Adam DiMarco as Albie Di Grasso, Theo James as Cameron Babcock, Meghann Fahy as Daphne Babcock, Sabrina Impacciatore as Valentina, Michael Imperioli as Dominic Di Grasso, Aubrey Plaza as Harper Spiller, Will Sharpe as Ethan Spiller, Haley Lu Richardson as Portia, Beatrice Granno as Mia, Simona Tabasco as Lucia and others.

The synopsis for The White Lotus Season 2 episode 7 episode reads, “Albie asks Dominic for a karmic payment to help Lucia. Tanya grows wary of Quentin’s motives. Ethan confronts Cam. Valentina gives Mia a chance.”

With the finale episode now concluding the season run, the fans were eager to emote their thoughts for the same on Twitter. Taking to their respective handles, many fans typed out the need for Jennifer Coolidge to win an Emmy for her performance. An endless trail of memes swarmed the app with intertextual references to other shows and possible new fan-cast entries in Season 3.

The viewers particularly couldn’t have enough of the yacht scene, and Lucia and Mia using men to make their way through. Anyway, Tanya speaking to the yacht’s Italian captain about gays wanting to murder her is now going to have a separate fanbase all to itself, just like Albie and Portia sharing the same braincell do.

A still from the finale.

After all that scream fest, having watched all these instances unfold in front of our eyes, the final takeaway of the show, as also mentioned by one of the Twitter users is – don’t trust anyone, not even your friends or your family, “or a SINGLE person who you come across in Italy except for the lesbian front desk lady”. Capisce?
