The Uncanny Counter Season 2: How Did Ma Ju-seok Survive Being Controlled by 2 Spirits?

Bringing an end to the big evil spirit, The Uncanny Counter season 2 was a treat for everyone as So Mun and the Counters once again save the world. However, there is no doubt that the biggest star of this season had to be the simple-minded firefighter Ma Ju-seok who changed waves every weekend in this show.

The Uncanny Counter Season 2 (경이로운 소문 2: 카운터 펀치) brings the return of the supernatural mystery comedy-drama of the same name directed by Yoo Seon-dong. The show stars Cho Kyeong-kyu, Yoo Joon-sang, Kim Se-jeong, Yeom Hye-ran, Ahn Suk-hwan, and Yoo In-soo in the lead roles alongside other cast members.

The sequel continues the story of the group of Counters who catch evil spirits from the afterlife who have come searching for immortality. With new members joining the gang and bigger evils coming their way, the Counters are ready for a counterattack and stop anyone who comes their way.

This season has done its job of keeping us entertained right until the end while bringing feelings of nostalgia for fans of the show who have waited for over 2 years for this sequel. And while the Counters have brought back the forgotten feeling, there is no doubt that it was someone other than a Counter who took up the spotlight this time.

The sincere and simple-minded firefighter Ma Ju-seok has been the biggest threat and victim this season while carrying the main storyline until the end. Having faced tragic loss, he was possessed by an evil spirit that fed on his rage and later even by the main antagonist Hwang Pil-gwang.
