The Uncanny Counter Season 2 Overview

The Uncanny Counter Season 2 (경이로운 소문 2: 카운터 펀치) brings the return of the supernatural mystery comedy-drama of the same name directed by Yoo Seon-dong. The show stars  Cho Kyeong-kyu, Yoo Joon-sang, Kim Se-jeong, Yeom Hye-ran, Ahn Suk-hwan, and Yoo In-soo in the lead roles alongside other cast members.

The new season continues the story of the group of Counters who catch evil spirits from the afterlife who have come in search of immortality. With new members joining the gang and bigger evils coming their way, the Counters are ready for a counterattack and stop anyone who comes their way.

The Uncanny Counter 2 takes over tvN’s Saturday-Sunday 9:20 PM KST time slot previously occupied by See You in My 19th Life.

The synopsis of the show reads, “Armed with new powers and fresh recruits, the Counters continue their battle against evil demons who feed on humans.”

The Uncanny Counter Season 2 Episode 1 Recap

The Counters are back and in style, as they take over another notorious evil spirit creating havoc everywhere. However, they are also overworked and in need of some new faces as soon as possible. While the Spirits Immigration Office is unable to solve their predicament any time soon, the team practice hard while taking part in the kimchi-making session with the elderly.

While So Mun and Ha-na go ahead to distribute the kimchi, they come across a boy and his violent father. Understanding the situation, the two contact the police and try to make things easier for the two. Meanwhile, three evil spirits in China murder four Counters and take over their powers.

The news soon reaches So Mun and his team who are shocked and now need to work harder than ever to face these dangerous spirits. Suddenly, Ha-na gets a vision that the boy and his mother they saved are in trouble. Thus, the whole team rushes to save the day and once again, in style.
