5 Songs from The Summer I Turned Pretty That We Cannot Stop Listening To

This Love (Taylor’s Version) by Taylor Swift

The final song of the series that made the finale more epic than ever is This Love (Taylor’s Version). The song aided Belly and Conrad’s relationship progress and the page the two parted on. Belonging to Taylor Swift’s 1989 album originally, Swift recorded the song for the show, also releasing a lyrical video for it.

Happier Than Ever (Remix) by Billie Eilish

Released in 2021, Eilish’s Happier Than Ever belongs to the album of the same name. The song went on to be nominated for the 64th Annual Grammy Awards and received praises from fans and critics alike, trending a lot on its release. However, the remix version featured in the third episode of the series really elevated Belly’s emotions and feelings towards the two brothers and Cousins, in general.

Is It True by Tame Impala

One of the most underrated tracks of the show has to be Is It True by Tame Impala. The track brings a bounce and pop to the essentially slow album. The fun song plays during the sixth episode of the series titled ‘Summer Tides’.

The Way I Loved You (Taylor’s Version) by Taylor Swift

All of Taylor Swift’s Songs seemed to have played a pivotal role in the series but, it might just be this track that made us all jump as the track played when Conrad stepped in for the final dance with Belly at the debutant ball after Jeremiah went missing. Originally a part of Swift’s Fearless album, this recorded version made the scene worth the while.

Funeral by Phoebe Bridgers

Another track from the finale, Bridgers’ Funeral made its sad and tragic entry into the OST when the kids discovered Susannah’s caner. A melancholy melody, the song is a part of the singer’s 2017 album Stranger in the Alps.
