A month ago, a mere sneak peek in the form of a short teaser was unveiled that left the viewers of the American film The Good Nurse in their deja vu feels. Today’s trailer takes a step ahead to dig deeper into the story as Pernille Kurzmann Larsen, a rookie nurse starts fresh at a hospital. Initially, she can’t help but pulled in by the charms and eccentric work ethic of her colleague Christina Aistrup Hansen.

They work together during the late night hours and help the patients who are in desperate need of it. However, as time goes by, their “dream team” construct starts developing cracks as Pernille’s suspicions about Christina take the upper hand. In turn linking her conspicuous behaviour to the rising patient deaths, Pernille ensues an investigation of her own to tail her actions.

What makes this whole ordeal even more unsettling is the fact that storyline is all derived from true facts. The Danish crime TV show based on reality has already got the audience’s hopes up as they eagerly await to see all the suspense unfold and resolve in front of their eyes this April on Netflix. Jeppe Kaas is working on the show’s music, which is bound to up the haunting scale as well while backing up the sinister actions in store for the viewers.
