The Morning Show Season 3 Trailer: Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon are Back to Make a Difference Again

Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon are back with the breaking news in the The Morning Show Season 3 trailer. With the first two seasons having already made a mark, this one seems to be aiming for more just like its characters. So we can expect that the stakes will be higher and ambitions will take center stage. The Emmy-award-winning show has been directed by Mimi Leder who has also co-executive-produced it alongside showrunner Charlotte Stoudt, Echo Films (Aniston and Kristin Hahn), and Hello Sunshine (Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter).

Other than the two leading women, returning cast members include Billy Crudup as UBA CEO Cory Ellison and Greta Lee as publicist Stella Bak along with Mark Duplass as Charlie, Nestor Carbonell as Yanko, Karen Pittman as Mia and Julianna Margulies as Laura. John Hamm is joining the cast as corporate tycoon Paul Marks who has set his eyes on UBA. He will have Tig Notaro as his assistant Amanda Robinson.

In the trailer, Witherspoon’s Bradley Jackson speaks about how they (she and Alex maybe) were supposed to change things. This means that there’s something going on inside the studio of the UBA news network that they don’t like. Perhaps it has got something to do with Paul Marks. While she wants to make a difference, Alex believes that she has a say in the future of the network that she has served for so long. This again sounds like she is speaking against the actions of Paul.

Crudup’s Cory Ellison wants to win by any means necessary and he might just have agreed to Paul’s offer that neither Bradley nor Alex like. Considering the toll that COVID took in Season 2, the offer is apparently a lifeline. But is it really? Stella believes that whatever is happening is misleading. Well, there’s a lot in store for us. And keeping in mind that the series has been renewed for a fourth season, things will get complicated and might just end in a cliffhanger.
