-The Mole Episode 1-5 Review Does Not Contain Any Spoilers-
It is a high-stakes competition series and in this reimagined version, twelve players work together in challenges to add money to a pot that only one of them will win at the end. Among the players is one person who has secretly been designated “the Mole” and tasked with sabotaging the group’s money-making efforts. In the end, one player will outlast their competition and expose the Mole to win the prize pot.

The new season sees the group travel through the wilds of Australia from the Daintree Rainforest in Queensland down to cosmopolitan Sydney, while enduring high-stakes challenges along the way. Their goal is to complete competitive challenges and earn money.
It’s simple enough, except that the strangers they’re competing against — who are also trying to earn that money by casting suspicion on or away from themselves and confusing their competitors, can’t all be trusted.

The 12 players compete in mental and physical challenges in an attempt to win money to add to a prize pot. These challenges include tasks as varied as working together to escape from a prison cell or following a map to find the hidden treasure, or even just deciding to not do something that could give them an edge over their competition.
If the players complete their challenge, they win the full prize pot. However, the mole will try to sabotage by chipping away at that prize money one challenge at a time. After each set of challenges, the players take a quiz that tests whether they know the identity of the Mole.
The person who answers the fewest questions correctly gets eliminated. One at a time, each player is randomly sent their results individually via text message. If the screen on their phone goes green, they’re safe. But if it’s red, they’re immediately eliminated from the game.

The player who safely avoids elimination and correctly identifies the Mole in the finale by answering the most quiz questions accurately wins the prize pot. The Mole can never win, as, by the end of the game, the players will be (hopefully) able to identify the traitor through their quizzes.
The competitors are a mixed bunch of groups from various backgrounds, however, there are a few that could be on your suspicion list. But with every episode, your choices could turn wrong, as the people who are not the mole are trying to act like one, so they could throw some people off and take a right guess themselves.
Summing Up: The Mole Episodes 1-5
These games are entertaining to watch nonetheless and where we as viewers also have to rake our brains, is even more engaging. So far, I don’t know what Joi’s game plan is. She seemed like a mole at first, but now she just seems like a person wanting to end till the last, but if you got no money in the pot, it’s just pointless.

She surely isn’t making the right choices, or she is actually the sabotager and boldly playing right in front of our eyes. Greg also has been pointed out by many and for some reason, he gives off Ezra Miller vibes, but I don’t think he is the one. It would really be a shocker if Will turns out to be the traitor.
So far the challenges have been on the mild side, in the next episode preview, there seem to be some more extreme tasks. Also, the stakes should be much higher since they have gotten very less in the bag.
The Mole Episodes 1-5 are currently streaming on Netflix.

I completely agree with Avori when she said either Joi is the mole or she’s just a really dumb player like navigating in the most bizzare way possible and voting for the most unlikely people yet still making it. I also don’t know if it’s coincidental but suddenly a player out of nowhere just happens to start doing dumb stuff every episode.
