The Kardashians Season 2 Episode 8 Review

The Kardashians Season 2 Episode 8 starts off with Kourtney’s segment that we left off in the last episode. In Milan, Kourtney and Travis decide to do some touristy before heading to the fitting on their final and actual wedding outfits. After a brief touristy monologue, we finally see the couple trying on their D-Day dresses separately, where in Kourtney’s room Domenico Dolce almost sews it onto her through surgery of cutting and stitching as Kourtney gets into the dress, piece by piece.

Meanwhile, the MET gala preps are on! Kim in Orlando visits Ripley’s Believe in or Not to try Marilyn Monroe’s iconic Happy Birthday President dress which is a make-or-break scene because if she does not fit in, it means she will not go to the fashion event of the year. With Kris Jenner’s bargaining tactics and Kim trying her best to shimmy into the embellished dress, it is finally a fit. But, well, is it really? Because Kim continues her tireless regime to look the part for the dress.

But, that is not all the MET preps we see in this episode, because Khloe Kardashian is in the scene too, finally! We witness her dress trials, and her mother’s motivation to send her down the hounds on the red carpet really paired up with the spicey court sketches of the Blac Chyna defamation case.

The Kardashians Season 2 Episode 8 Ending Explained

Towards the end of The Kardashians Season 2 Episode 8, we meet Kim dying her hair blonde like Marilyn for her big day on the red carpet. She explains to the viewers the process of walking on the red carpet in the original dress and then changing into a replica of it later because one cannot risk moving around, sitting and eating in that iconic piece. And, we do believe with Kim’s butt, would make a whole of difference from the original owner of the dress herself doing it.

But, there is something way bigger than the episode ending offers us and all the fans have been practically dying to see- all the Kardashians sisters together! Well, although, Kourtney is in Milan, we do get to see Kylie, Kendall, Khloe and Kim in the same room as Kylie fits into her Off-White dress that will be a tribute to the designer. All the sisters are clearly done with the court case and are craving to have some fun sister time on the MET gala red carpet.

The Kardashians Season 2 Episode 8: Final Thoughts

Another episode dedicated completely to the MET gala and Kourtney’s wedding preps, oh and also the Blac Chyna court case, that it almost feels like the upcoming two episodes of this season will really have nothing more to offer. The best part about The Kardashians Season 2 Episode 8 has to be the court caricatures and news reading popping up on our screen and seeing almost all the sisters together getting ready for the big gala.
