The Kardashians Season 2 Episode 7 Review

The Kardashians Season 2 Episode 7 might just be the episode everyone has been most excited for this season as it unveils all the bts surrounding Kim Kardashian’s controversial MET Gala look. First, off the bat, we have Kim talking about how she wants to skip the MET gala until the Marilyn Monroe inspiration strikes her and find the icon’s most fitting dress that she wore while singing Happy Birthday to JFK at Ripley’s Believe it or Not.

Along with the dress comes Kim’s fascination with the star and the revelation that Kim is actually a shapeshifter and can fit into any dress, irrespective of its measurements. Well, the replica she tries on affirms the fact but, it is to be noted that it is made out of stretchable material whereas Monroe’s actual dress is not. Another Kardashian who gets a MET gala dress-decision-making segment in this episode is, of course, Kylie Jenner, who decides on wearing Off-White for the recently passed away Virgil Abloh- a sweet gesture, indeed.

However, in the Easter celebration that follows, we have Kim having a moment as Ripley informs her about how her hip would not fit Monroe’s original dress. No shocker there, right? But, Kim would go to lengths it seems to clearly get what she has set her mind onto. Meanwhile, another dress fitting that goes hand in hand is for Kourtney’s wedding which definitely seems way less problematic.

The Kardashians Season 2 Episode 7 also gives us some scandalous tea, one of the funniest being the photoshopping of True’s face over Stormi’s beside Chi’s at Disneyland. This is followed by the rather serious one concerning the Blac Chyna allegation on the Kardashian clan.

The Kardashians Season 2 Episode 7 Ending Explained

The Kardashians Season 2 Episode 7 ends with Kourtney at the fitting of her wedding dress along with Travis. We have Dolce and Gabanna executives and Kourt’s friends flooding the hotel room in Italy as Kourtney tries on the dresses for her upcoming wedding, which by the way is Travis Barker’s fourth! Measurements are taken, alterations made and the day is wrapped for the duo in love.

The Kardashians Season 2 Episode 7: Final Thoughts

Overall, The Kardashians Season 2 Episode 7 had some fun as well as boring elements to it. It is clear how Kylie is far off from the family when it comes to shooting this reality tv series and it is almost making everyone wonder what is the deal with her. Otherwise, it is all Kim, Khloe and Kris for the long haul in this episode with Kim taking the centre stage with her upcoming MET Gala fittings.
