The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn As A Typical Nobody Review – Demon King Is On-Radar Again!
After the previous episode we had which was flailing around to get its story straight, The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody Episode 3 managed to establish itself a bit more. The reincarnated demon king, Ard is, for unknown reasons, being asked to participate in the students’ battle event of the Academy of Magic where the queen shall be attending. He is being asked to put on an excellent, ostentatious performance for her by the Academy Headmaster. Ard gets away after asking some time to consider such a strange request while being wary of Olivia.

Ard’s now friend group (yes, the original plot) consists of Ireena, his childhood friend, and Ginny, the succubus whom he had rescued from her bullies and helped her regain her self-confidence. Against his wishes of being an ordinary villager and making friends for which he abandoned his Kingdom and reincarnated without telling anybody, Ard makes no effort to fulfill it. His actions are far from supporting this goal acting contrarily by constantly standing out. How can the greatest demon ruler of all time be so naive? Well, the obvious culprit is the poor character written for him.
The anime has started to take a turn toward the polygamous relationship between Ard and Ginny and Ireene. Honestly, the poster does give that vibe but Ginny being a succubus adds much more attention to it. The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody seems to be heading on a path where the main character has his harem. With the queen being introduced in this episode and many other girls in the future, Ard might be able to get his “friend group” after all.
Although not everything is honky-dory. With major glaring plots to the seemingly overpowered main character who seems to forget that he needs to lie low to be ordinary, Shijou Saikyou no Daimaou Murabito A ni Tensei suru is just another average show. The plot coherence does not look like to be a high priority. The past is just being used as a tool for story convenience. The animation is average by the fantasy anime standards. And despite having a chance to improve in the magical scenes, we just usually see drawings and lightning.

Shijou Saikyou no Daimaou Murabito A ni Tensei suru Episode 3 has its positives as well. The script was much slower this episode, hence we were able to properly grab the story this time, albeit it was flecked with plotholes. What it lacks in the general storyline, this anime is making up for it with its lively characters. We were able to see Ginny come out of her shell and voice her true self. Olivia seemed to be scheming something big, and we cannot wait to find out more!
Prognosis
The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody Episode 3 was too outlandish fun and the best episode to date of the series as far as entertainment is concerned. But the actions of the main cast continuously contradict their own will they proudly state before glaringly ignoring them.
