The Game Caterers: BTS’ V, Park Seo-joon and Other Seojin’s Cast to Feature on YouTube Variety Show

The Game Caterers (출장 십오야), a South Korean variety show announced today that the cast of Seojin’s will be featuring this week. It is an upcoming reality show where the cast runs a restaurant for a time period. The current show will succeed ‘Youn’s Kitchen‘, and will be run by actor Lee Seo-jin, actress Jung Yu-mi, Park Seo-joon, Choi Woo-shik, and BTS’ V.

The Game Caterers is first broadcasted on tvN and a re-run on the YouTube channel, ‘Fullmoon’ after the broadcast. It is led by the famous producer Na Yeong-seok (Na PD), the crew visits various entertainment agencies or film and TV show casts, where they play a variety of games to win valuable prizes.

The clips from the short-form program often go viral due to its unique games and the hilarious moments that ensue. One of the most popular games that many cast fears playing is – guess who. Na PD shows the guest a picture of any popular person, character etc and they have to answer within 3 seconds or get the iconic ‘dang’ from the PD. Being put on the spot many people fail to recognise the person and often end up seeking an apology and losing one of the prizes too.

In the post uploaded by the show’s official Instagram page, we see the whole cast of the show and a variety of prizes laid in front of them. Although many of the items are blurred, we can see two peculiar things – a pink flamingo and a placard that says ‘yaja time’ which means the younger members can talk informally or like a friend to the elder members.

If you have been familiar with the previous instalment which included the same cast except for BTS’ V, then you would know how much actor, Choi Woo-shik, would be tempted to use it. His playful persona doesn’t spare anyone in general but with the official permission of others, we can only imagine the deathly stares from Lee Seo-jin and the annoyed elder sister face of Jung Yoo-mi.

In the teaser, which was released a few days ago, we were introduced to the cast and what role they will be playing. Lee Seo-jin being the owner with director Jung Yu-mi, assistant manager or head chef Park Seo-joon and lastly interns Choi Woo-shik, and BTS’ V. While most of the older cast got promoted to senior level, the fans found it hilarious that Woo-shik was still an intern along with the new joined V.
