The Frog Koren Drama: Kim Yun-seok, Go Min-si and Others’ Character Posters Hint at Mystery and Hidden Dangers

Netflix has revealed a set of character posters for its much-anticipated thriller, The Frog Koren Drama (아무도 없는 숲속에서). Scheduled to premiere globally in August, this gripping new drama has already garnered significant buzz, thanks to its intriguing premise and an impressive cast featuring Kim Yun-seok, Go Min-si, Yoon Kye-sang, and Lee Jung-eun. Directed by Mo Wan-il, renowned for his work on The World of the Married, this drama promises a blend of suspense and psychological intrigue.

The newly released posters offer a tantalising glimpse into the world of The Frog. The first poster showcases Kim Yun-seok in the role of Jeon Young-ha, the owner of a remote pension house nestled in a dense forest. His portrayal exudes a sense of unease as he gazes anxiously over his shoulder, set against the ominous backdrop of the forest. This visual sets the stage for the tension that pervades the series.

Next, Go Min-si’s poster introduces us to Yoo Seong-ah, a mysterious and enigmatic woman whose arrival at Young-ha’s pension triggers a series of unsettling events. Min-si’s portrayal is particularly haunting; she appears dishevelled and drenched, her bloodshot eyes intensifying the poster’s eerie atmosphere.

The third poster is of Kye-sang plays Gu Sang-jun, who previously managed a motel in the same location as Young-ha’s pension. This glimpse into Sang-jun’s past suggests that his life was shattered by a tragic incident, hinting at deeper layers of the narrative. Finally, Lee Jung-eun’s poster features her as Yoon Bo-min, the tenacious investigative officer tasked with unravelling the complex cases involving both Young-ha and Sang-jun. The image of her peering cautiously from behind a door adds a layer of suspense, emphasising the investigative and thrilling elements of the story.

With a total of eight episodes, is drama is set to be a compelling addition to Netflix’s roster of original dramas.
