The Conjuring 3 Trailer And Featurettes Will Make Every Horror Movie Fan Excited For The Threequel

Last month, Warner Bros. Pictures shared The Conjuring 3 trailer, aka The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga have become our favourite paranormal investigators as Ed and Lorraine Warren. No matter how deadly the devil is, they bring a sense of relief to those who are sh*t scared of ghosts.

The Conjuring 3 trailer was released a few days ago, and the internet started seeing nightmares with open eyes. The story is set in Brookefield, focusing on the murder of Bruno Sauls in 1981 (name changed). But what happens if the murder has happened due to demonic possession? How does one bring the victim and the accused to justice? For Ed and Lorraine, it is another challenge trying to prove the devil’s existence while dealing with evil energies.

Michael Chaves is helming the threequel, and the screenplay is written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick from a story by Johnson-McGoldrick and James Wan. Warners Bros. Pictures revealed that the story of The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It is inspired by true events. Hence, the threequel will hit close to homes to those who are aware of the story or reside in the same place.

If The Conjuring 3 trailer was not enough to create tension among the masses, the makers have been releasing featurettes where people who are directly or indirectly affected by demonic possession share their stories. The first featurette was released on May 18 called – Chasing Evil Featurette.

On May 20, Warner Bros. Pictures shared another video called – THE CONJURING: THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT – Demonic Possession Featurette. The movie is inspired by the events of the 1980s when a man named Arne Cheyenne Johnson killed his landlord. During the trial, Arne claimed that he was under the possession of demonic force when he committed the crime. The person who was a witness to all of this was Arne Johnson’s partner Debbie.

In the featurette, Debbie Johnson says that there isn’t one day that goes by when she doesn’t think of what had happened back in the 1980s. Debbie reveals that she and Arne were present for her younger brother’s exorcism, which Ed and Lorraine performed. She believes that during the exorcism, the devil jumped from her brother into Arne’s body. That’s how he ended up killing the landlord without being in control of the action. She shares a lot more in the video that will give you chills.

Check out The Conjuring 3 trailer and both the featurettes below:
