Is Taylor in Trouble After the Fight?

Seeing Taylor take over the audience’s awe, his friend Niko is filled with jealousy over what he couldn’t have. As celebrations ensue and Taylor is offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, Niko is unable to witness his growth any further and decides to be the catalyst for Taylor’s downfall. With drinks being shared in the fighter’s room, Taylor opts out of getting drunk and goes for some water.

Niko takes this opportunity and tells him that he will grab a bottle for him. However, he has another plan in mind as he sees the drug testers ready to take a sample of Taylor’s blood, he manages to make them wait for a while on the pretence of the celebration going on. He then spikes Taylor’s water with the drug he has in his possession and passes on the bottle to Taylor.

As the show comes to an end at this point, we can assume another season showing Taylor’s rise from this drastic fall. But will he ever know the real reason behind what is to come? Or did Niko back out from spiking his drink? These questions demand The Cage season 2 where we will get a clear view of what comes next for Taylor.
